SoundTaxi is a Windows utility designed for removing DRM protection from your media files and converting them to various audio and video formats. The application supports batch conversion, lets you choose between multiple output profiles, and offers you quality output files in just a few moments.
All you need to do is to select the files you wish to convert, configure the output settings from the Options page according to your needs, and click the "Convert" button from the main toolbar of the app. SoundTaxi will finish processing the imported files within moments.
A great aspect about this program is the fact that it comes with automation features. To be more exact, you can select a folder that will be monitored by the app. Every time you add a new media file to the directory in question, the program automatically converts it to the format you select from the Options window.
Sadly, the utility comes with various flaws. Personally, I didn't like the appearance of the interface at all. Even though it was intuitive, the design leaved a lot to be desired. Another bad aspect is that you cannot choose individual output settings/profiles when batch converting files.
However, the most important disadvantage is that the app supports a small amount of media formats.
With that being said, I don't think it's worth buying this program for your PC, no matter which edition of the SoundTaxi tool you choose.
